Icons in the new Joomla version are only visible as strange icons.... or numbers This happens since some of the last updates.

Where can I add a screendump ? I think this gives more info then some text. It happens not in other browsers, but I want to use FireFox.

Isisombululo esikhethiwe

That looks like a problem with a downloadable font that isn't working.

You can check thegfx.downloadable_fonts.enabled pref on the about:config page.

This can also be caused by an extension that isn't working properly and is blocking content.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window or otherwise make changes.
