prtocol violation in Thuderbird
When I attempt to send a video file in T/Bird I get a protocol violation and the email will not send. The email does , however, show up in my sent folder. I can send the same file in a Gmail account with no problem. suggestions

what exactly is the error message? We know what you tell us and at this point that is nothing more than you have a problem with a protocol violation.
My guess is the file is either simply too large for your providers limits or the provider will not allow transmission of the file type. But that is just a guess because you do not mention the provider so specifics are not available..
