Every couple of weeks, I get a hidden Firefox window containing Facebook. It is not visible from the taskbar. It is not visible from the Task Manager (all other windows are). It is not visible in any tab. I can hear notification sounds, that's the only way I know it's there. If I kill the Firefox process and reopen it, it reopens all of my recent pages like it should, and also a tiny window containing Facebook that wasn't there before.

Any ideas?

Can you reach this window via Alt+Tab?

Thanks for the response! No. Basically the window "doesn't exist" (except for sounds) until I kill the Firefox process and restart Firefox. If I close all open FF windows, it stays hidden. Only if I kill the FF process does it finally close, and then reappear when FF is reopened as a tiny window. Sometimes it is a small square window, sometimes it's a long narrow window.
