Hi,

You can try deselecting Use hardware acceleration when available in Tools (Alt + T) > Options > Advanced > General. Options > Advanced You can also try to inform the developers of the custopack, about the issue of it not working well with non Microsoft programs. But please also note that Aurora is beta software. First of all thanks for the replay, I did try turning off use hardware acceleration but it still has not helped, I do understand that Aurora is in beta, but are we not supposed to report bugs and issues. When I was first posting this issue there was no option to add a picture only now after I have posted it, the option this there not sure why I could not of done this in the first place as im sure it would of help you out. But thanks again for your help :) if the worse comes to the worse I'll just uninstall this, Ive uploaded a pic to show what is problem is, in Auroa its black and in IE there is white writing...

Also: You can try to change the tooltip settings in the custopack, if it offers the options. Depending on the configuration, you may also be able to change the settings in the Windows Personalize > Window Color > Advanced appearance settings > Item > Tooltip.

Hi vivek & swarnava

Ive tryed changing the tooltip colours in the advanced setting but it's the same thing there is no option in the custopack to change this, Ive also email the author of the custopack, but I've also noticed that when I look at the bubble the writing is there but its in black when it should be white. This happens in all websites, www.youtube.com www.http://forum.notebookreview.com/ www.mozilla.org

Your welcome and thank you for trying to help :) Is there any thing else I can try? or do?

You can also try to check if the custopack authors have found a solution. Swarnava will also try to reproduce the error and file a bug report, if an error is found in the Firefox functionality.

I've just got a reply from the author and he has recommended, that I should install an add on called stylish and to use this tooltip {color: white !important;} for it to work

Let's hope it works.

yeah I'll give it a shot, but im in two minds in keeping this theme now as there are a few missing features that have been removed from win7 and its messing with my enjoyment of Aurora, it's like the fun I had when first used firefox all the way back in 2005/6
