I am unable to reach Facebook on both Firefox and Waterfox.

Other browsers (Opera, Edge, Chrome) are able to access Facebook.

I can access other Meta-owned sites (Messenger.com, Instagram, Threads) on Firefox and Waterfox.

This issue exists on both my desktop (Windows 10) and laptop (Windows 11).

This issue does not apply to Firefox for iOS or the Facebook app.

All apps and OS's mentioned are up to date.

This has been going on for over a week now.

Try changing DNS over HTTPS (DoH) to "Off" or "Max Protection" and in Connection Settings change "Use system proxy settings" to "No proxy".

Does it still happen in Troubleshoot Mode?

Nothing happened when I tried this, and yes it still happens in Troubleshoot Mode.

Does it still happen with default settings in a new browser profile? An easy way to test a new profile is to install Developer Edition and see if it happens there or refresh your existing profile. Make sure you stay signed out of your sync account when testing.

Ok, I can reach Facebook on Developer Edition.

What should I do?

If you want to fix your browser profile instead of simply refreshing it, you will need to find the issue through a process of elimination.

Backup your profile folder and try resetting all about:config settings to default by renaming the prefs.js file while Firefox is not running.

"If you only have one profile, its folder would have "default" in the name."

There are four folders, each with the word "default" somewhere in the name....
