My hard drive died. I backed up Firefox with Mozilla backup. Then the new version of Firefox came along and rendered mozilla backup unusable. I have lost all my logins and all my bookmarks, including the one for my Facebook account. How can I load these bookmarks and passwords again if only for long enough to write them down?

Do you still have your old hard drive? It's possible a computer tech can recover data from it.

I think that Mozilla backup stores its data in a ZIP archive if you only have one file with all profile data, so you can check this file in an archive manager.
