Just downloaded thunderbird as email client to receive my emails. I have set up addresses for all the family. All are working fine apart from one. When I set the email address up, it starts to receive the emails fine( should be loading 330+ emails) but it stops at 59. I have tried closing the email account and setting it up again but same thing happens. What I have noticed is that when I click on any of the other addresses and press new emails they all load up fine, this email address there is no acknowledgement at all.

Chosen solution

It could be that message 60 is corrupted and blocking the download of the others. If you access the account through webmail and delete the offending message, this often breaks up the ice jam.

Thank you for your response. It worked! I had to find several spam emails but once deleted, everything downloaded. Once again, thank you.
