How can I remove recipients when sending "as new" in thunderbird 60?

The old ResetRec add-in has been removed in Thunderbird 60. I frequently send to large lists and then need to send as new to another set of recipients. Manually removing each recipient is time consuming. The old add-in hasn't been updated since 2011 so it is unlikely to be updated. How can I remove all recipients. Thank you, Len

Chosen solution

Mailing lists are the recommended method, but if you want to use ResetRec in TB 60, open Tools/Options/Advanced/General/Config. editor and double-click the preference extensions.strictCompatibility to false, OK to close Options. Tested in TB 60.3.

The add-on author states that an update for TB 60 is forthcoming (probably just needs to change maxVersion in install.rdf).

re :Manually removing each recipient is time consuming. Perhaps, you need to use a different method. Adding or removing individual email addresses is time consuming.

Suggest you create Mailing Lists which consist of different groups of people. Then you are simply deleting the list and adding another. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-create-and-use-mailing-lists-thunderbird
