How can I take a screen shot of an article that cannot be fully displayed on the screen?

I need to copy articles from very old newspapers that are accessible online. Full page screen shots are illegible as the text is too small and cannot be enlarged legibly. Enlarged pages display articles legibly, but the whole article cannot then be displayed on screen and I want to get a screen shot of the entire article in its suitably enlarged format.

I need to be able to highlight the part of the text I want to copy and at the same time scroll the source document to include the part of the text that was not initially displayed.

Or do I have to buy a giant monitor to display the text I want in suitably enlarged format?
