I get this error on every run of Firefox. On multiple machines. I've tried everything suggested on your "https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-to-update-to-the-new-firefox-sync" page to no avail. My settings are set to accept all but third party cookies, and dom storage is enabled. I've tried safe mode also.

I've turned on services.sync logging (also on pastebin.mozilla.org):

Chosen solution

Try to disconnect and reconnect to Sync via the Firefox > Preferences > Sync window.

You may also have to delete the signedInUser.json file in the profile folder.

You can use this button to go to the currently used Firefox profile folder:

  • Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Show Folder (Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder)

No improvement. The signedInUser.json file appears to be a session file that disappears on quit. I removed it during a session, then reconnected. Still getting the invalid token error: 1421577426649 FirefoxAccounts ERROR error GETing /account/keys: {"code":401,"errno":110,"error":"Unauthorized","message":"Invalid authentication token in request signature","info":"https://github.com/mozilla/fxa-auth-server/blob/master/docs/api.md#response-format"}

Solved. Deleted signedInUser.json file as you suggested. What seems to have had a greater effect is starting firefox in safe mode, then restarting again in safe mode from the help menu. This reconciled what appears to have been interference with the kechain services integration extension.

Thanks for your help, Cheers!
