Why is there no way to select address books to edit?

more options

Hi In previoud versions (or at least osx from what i've seen from searching) their was an address books list in the left side of the addressbook window. I have been unable to find a way to display this side bar in order to select other addressbooks, other than the default, or even to delete empty addressbooks.

I have found that hitting F9 on a write window will bring up a contacts list where there is a dropdown to switch between addressbooks and contacts there in. Something akin to that would be usefull in the addressbook window for selecting addressbooks.

thanks retoss

Turn on the Directory Pane in the address book window.

Window layouts are under View in the menus. If you do not like the layout, look there.

Open the address book window. From the menu bar select View-Layout-Directory Pane
