Firefox regularly shuts itself off. I can't reset it because any attempt to do so causes it to crash. Please help.

Firefox randomly closes. I cannot find a clear link between any particular webpage or amount of time or number of tabs that is relates to these constant crashes. I would like to reset Firefox to see if this solves the problem. However, click on "Troubleshooting information" instantly causes a crash. Trying to use the address bar to get to the support page instantly causes a crash. Is there another way to achieve this?
