Whenever I initially load ANY page from a website, the first page takes a really long time to load. Any pages from that site load very quickly thereafter. I also noticed that if I stop the page load immediately after my initial click and then click Reload, the page loads almost instantly. I'm currently using Firefox 20.0.1, but this problem has been happening for a while...at least as far back as Firefox 19. Based on my research, I've tried a whole slew of suggested solutions, but to no avail...including: turned off hardware acceleration, selected no proxies, disabled ABP, etc. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

hello stw203, maybe try to reset all network related settings in your configuration. enter about:config into the firefox location bar (confirm the info message in case it shows up) & search for all preference starting with network. shown in bold (=user set) - right-click and reset such entries to their default value.

Thanks so much! I didn't revert all of the network settings, but narrowed it down to the ones related to pipelining. Once those were reset, things seem to be working much better.

You can also set the plugin.expose_full_path from True to False because the true value exposes the path of plugins via the navigator. plugins object to JavaScript that runs on web page as you can see on the about:plugins page.
