firefox says the zynga addon cert isn't signed. it worked on my other computer. WHY DO THEY KEEP CLOSING THESE THREADS AS SOLVED? IT'S STILL AN ISSUE WITH MILLIONS!

FF SAYS SIGNING CANNOT BE VERIFIED. WHY DON'T THEY LEAVE THAT TO US TO BYPASS? IT INSTALLED ON MY OTHER COMPUTER WITH FF.

My problem is with the Farmville tool bar, it asks me to sign in and then it switches to the download screen. Then the screen switches back to the sign in screen. it does this repeatedly.

I have the same problem, I had the zynga tool-bar, I uninstalled it a few weeks ago and now I cannot re-install it. I've been trying since I loaded the last firefox update version 3.6.3 .

Please Firefox will not let me install it!

I don't think there are even a handful of extensions that are signed, out of the tens of thousands of extensions that are available for Firefox. That is a feature that really hasn't been completely implemented - it works, but isn't a requirement for installation.

Exactly what error message or warning are you receiving when you attempt to install that extension?

Have you tried saving that extension to local disk and using File > Open File (or dragging the saved XPI file into the browser window) to install that extension locally?

I don't think that that extension will work on a Mac. There are Windows DLL files in the components folder of that xpi file.

My Zynga toolbar (aka Farmville Game Bar) for Farmville, Mafia, Vampires etc. is supposedly installed. After I go under the menu "view"->"toolbars"->"Zynga Toolbars" has a tick next to it, however, the toolbar line associated to my Zynga toolbar is coming up blank. I'm running a MacBook on OS 10.6.3. I have uninstalled the browser, including the Farmville toolbar, including the related components "conduit" and "lucene". Then reinstalled the browser, later the Farmville toolbar as well. As I go under my Error Console, I have been consistently receiving the following 2 error messages:

Error: Components.classes['@mozilla.org/network/network-link-service;1'] is undefined

I've gone through Zynga, Mozilla forums, and other forums regarding add-ons and extensions.

Not one company can answer these questions. Not one company seems to be accountable for these consistent errors.

why can't I install the toolbar for farmville/facebook

The problems you guys are having are because the toolbar is a piece of garbage. It's not a firefox problem. Anyone who has played Zynga games for any length of times should know by now that the company is absolutely incapable of putting out software with more working features than there are bugs screwing things up.

I installed the zynga toolbar for Mafiawars, it is installed but it doesn't show up. When I open add ons it is still installed, but when i click on options it pops up but can't click on ok

I was able to install the Zynga toolbar in Firefox 3.6.3 - but only after several restarts. It kept returning to the Zynga install page with an alert at the top saying Firefox blocked the page from asking to install an Add-on. Can not recall what I did to get it working, but once it appeared as a proper toolbar I found it to be worse than useless. It also kept a hidden window open - it appeared as a blank entry in the Windows menu but could not be selected. The FV bar has a countdown timer for your next harvest and advertisements for other Zynga games. All the Collect Bonuses button does is open a Zynga page exhorting you to install the Zynga Toolbar to collect your bonuses instantly.

We tried to install the toolbar on my wife's MacBook too and had similar results (Firefox 3.0.x) and have not been able to get past the "Firefox blocked the page from asking to install an Add-on" stage no matter how many times we restart it.

I agree with Anonymous that Zynga's products are poorly written garbage. Addictive garbage, but still garbage.

You can use the toolbar, all you have to do is start up mafiawars or some other zynga play in firefox let it opened, then go to start > firefox and open a new browser by clicking it, and now there is your zynga toolbar in the new browser click on play now and you get your 8 hours energy :)

look at your add ons, disable microsoft framework and you can use it as it was before

I can't add the toolbar. I used to have it & it worked great then i lost my firefox & only had safemode. so I reinstalled firefox & now the toolbar wont let me install it.

... I accidentally deleted it when I was cleaning out unneeded Addons. Now It's not letting me load it. x-x help.

Open add ons under extensions if there is a extension microsoft NET Framework assistant disable it, restart firefox and walla zynga toolbar works
