Subject line doesn't match email message
Occasionally and randomly, the subject line of an email does not match the email message displayed in Thunderbird. I have a gmail.com account, and use Thunderbird with POP, on Win7. Today, for instance, in the list of emails, there was one with the subject line "Your package has been delivered" from "Chewy.com". However, the email message displayed when I clicked on that email matched the previous message in the list of emails. I notice this happening about once every week or so, but it could be happening more often because I don't display all of the email messages I receive. Has anyone had this happen? Does anyone have a solution? I am able to pull up the correct email in Chrome if I log on to that email account, but that defeats the purpose of using Thunderbird to manage my gmail.com email account. Thank you for any help you're able to offer! ~Merrie

UPDATE: I found this question and answer https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1301939 "Criss-crossing email content error" and tried repairing my Inbox. Now, the subject lines for the two emails match, and the emails match, but the email from Chewy.com is gone from my Thunderbird email Inbox.
UPDATE #2: Also, two emails down in the list are now duplicated, and they aren't duplicated online in gmail.com, so Repairing the Inbox introduced an additional error.
Repairing simply builds a new index for the mail. It does not actually change any mail. I suggest you create a exclusion in your anti virus program to prevent your anti virus scanning in the profile folders when the program is running.
