I have transferred my Firefox profile according to this description: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-where-firefox-stores-user-data

I have Firefox 70.0.1 64bit on a Windows 7 PC, I want to use Firefox with the same profile on a new Windows 10 PC. What I did: 1) I copied the profile folder xxxxxx.default to a stick 2) Installed Firefox on the Windows 10 PC 3) Located the "default" Profile folder 4) Copied the content of my old profile folder to that "default" Profile folder, overwriting files

On 1st start, Firefox looked fine, restoring all my tabs. On 2nd start, I had no tabs, no bookmarks, nothing

What can I do?

I have since tried to selectively copy parts of the old profile to the new one (basically all points listes in https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-where-firefox-stores-user-data), then install extensions manually.

Now the profile works...I have no idea what I am missing now that I only selectively copied the items listed in the article above (but the list looks rather complete, expect for extension settings).

Any suggestions how to transfer settings of selected extensions from the old profile?
