Bookmarks spinning color wheel
When I click on the Bookmarks I get a spinning color wheel - it spin's for over 15 to 30 seconds before all my Bookmarks are shown - this has been occurring for about a week.

Places Maintenance {web link} Allows to run Maintenance tasks on the database that drives Places, the bookmarks and history module behind Firefox.
Open the Add-ons Manager. Locate the add-on and press the Options button. Then follow the directions.
Where do I find the Add-on Manager? Which Add-on am I locating?
The only Extension I have installed is Add Block, and the spinning wheel in bookmarks was occurring before I installed the Add Block.

I've Installed Places Maintenance] {web link} and I ran the wizard, but, I'm still getting the spinning wheel in my bookmarks.
How many bookmarks do you have?
You can check the name of the automatically created compressed .jsonlz4 backups.
The name of a JSON bookmarks backup file includes a total item count (folders and separators included) and an hash value to prevent saving the same backup more than once.
- bookmarks-YYYY-MM-DD_<item count>_<hash>.jsonlz4.

Several hundred bookmarks.
Not sure what the second part means (JASON)??

JSON means JavaScript Object Notation and refers to the way this binary object data is stored as plain text in a file if that is what you mean. The automatically created bookmark backups are also compressed with a special LZ4 compression to make them smaller and thus have a jsonlz4 file extension.

OK - thanks for the JASON explanation. So what should I be doing to correct/ or stop the spinning wheel from occurring?
I had some experience - but I'm not a tech.
