screen too light
In the last few weeks when I'm on the internet all pages are just about too light to read. Text box outlines are almost invisible. No, it's not my screen - My screen is perfectly OK when I'm not on the internet. I've adjusted my monitor so it's very dark to no avail. I don't need any more test screens - they all show that my monitors fine - too dark if anything. Any ideas?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).
Is the problem still there?
Should the problem still be there you could try this:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/nosquint-plus/
The problem I had, that the screen is too faint, is marginally better as it's easier to see bigger ghost images, but not by much. It was a good try though.

What exactly was a good try: Firefox in Safe Mode ?
If the problem is still there, we'll have to keep looking .....
If the problem is still there, maye this will help:
'Accessibility features in Firefox - make Firefox and web content work
