Spell checker will not work correctly, miss-spelled underlined words won't stay underlined as I correct
Miss spelled words get underlined but as soon as I correct one ALL the other underlines go away. I have to turn off then back on to see miss spelled words again, over and over again.

It is possible that some JavaScript is interfering and causes the text area to refresh and the underlining to disappear.
Does this also happen in the reply area on this forum?
No, it does not happen when I reply to this.
Miss-spelled words stay underlined as I go through correcting them so it works correctly in this case
Re your last reply below, I don't know what that means?

That means you have two versions of the same plugin. This may or may not cause problems.
Hey Cor-el, why was that message deleted?
Ok, so which one do I delete and where to find it?
My advice is to remove both to avoid possible corruption. Then go to Adobe.com and reinstall the current version.
So you mean just disable (which I did) or delete? Don't see any way to delete
Yeah, Adobe is a big site with lots of downloads, how about a link to the one Firefox needs?
This page has a table with descriptions of the systems and browsers and the version of Flash plugin for each one.
This page shows how to uninstall an installed Flash plugin.
Did those steps, no change, still don't work right. I really need a solution.
I know what you mean. I am a lousy speeler . . spooller . . . speller myself. :-)
So you have any other ideas to correct this problem?
I just had a thought. At one of the forums I go to, MY spell checker looked to be disabled, but I had used the forums own spell / grammar checker and had not noticed until later.
What are the web page(s) you are having the problem with?
Not web pages. it's email, outlook.com to be specific also happens in g mail but not as often
Firefox is a browser. It displays what web sites tell it to. A specific part of the web site is a page.
