Firefox told me that it needed a reset
Recently Firefox told me that it was not running as fast as it should and that I should reset it, and provided a link to enable this. I clicled on the link, and now I have lost 7 YEARS of login paswords!!!!! Who thinks up the code behind these "helpful" hints? Can you remember a pasword that you created 7 years ago? Really, really upset user.

Hi adrian28, I'm sorry to hear your Refresh didn't complete fully. Perhaps there was a locked file??
Your old Firefox data should be on your desktop now in a folder named Old Firefox Data -- can you find that?
Check inside for a folder that will have a partially random name, like "xyz52t91.default" -- can you find that?
If you have that, we can describe how to copy/paste two of those files into your currently live Firefox profile folder in place of the empty ones.

Many thanks. I did reply to the e-mail telling me the solution, but it got bounced back - of course. So I am just posting here to thank whoever got it fixed behind the scenes. And a suggestion that someone adds to the code suggesting a reset that there may be some additional consequences that might have to be addressed. Thanks again
