Hi, I want to switch to Firefox browser and away from Safari and Google. When I try to download from the App Store, the “get” blue button is dimmed and won’t work. My iPad is an old Air, ME898LL/A, version 12.8.4 is running. Plenty of memory available, and it says it’s compatible. Is there a work around? Thank you!

You don't mention if the button is dimmed for all apps or just FF. If the former, check these possibilities.

1. Make sure you're signed into your Apple ID 2. check the payment method on your Apple ID 3. check for restrictions in Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions.

If none of these solve the issue, I suggest you post this question on the Apple Support page, as it may be more of an Apple issue that a Firefox issue.
