Since purchasing new computer am forced to use internet explorer as Firefox is causing text on many websites to display in yellow. Some sites have just a few lines that display in yellow and other like craigslist are 80 to 90% yellow text. I cannot read this text at all.

That's strange. The display is yellow text on a white (or other light colored) background?

To see whether one of your extensions is the culprit, could you try the same sites in Firefox's Safe Mode? That's a standard diagnostic tool to bypass interference by extensions (and some custom settings). More info: Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode.

You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using

Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled

In the dialog, click "Start in Safe Mode" (not Reset)

Any difference?
