How do I go into "Saved Passwords" and copy-and-paste. It's supposed to be simple HTML and I need to paste them into an email I can send to myself.

I should only have to drag my cursor over the whole list of stored passwords, but they won't turn blue like the list is supposed to.

Please go to options -> security -> saved password -> show password and then you can right click on what you need to copy the username or password.

Thank you!

No, that only says "copy user name" or "copy password" and then you have to close the whole tools tab to get back to the document, that would take forever. I should be able to at least copy the whole line of text by dragging, highlighting, right clicking, selecting "copy" then go to a document or email I'm composing, right clicking again and selecting "paste". I want to email myself, from Yahoo Mail to Hotmail/Outlook, the entirety of my saved passwords for all of my usernames for FaceBook, Blogger, YouTube, email and various political and entertainment discussion forums.

That way, if I ever have to reinstall my O.S., purchase a new computer...etc, I can go to one of my email inboxes and have it all right there.

Take a look at this extension:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/password-exporter/

Exports in two different text-based formats.

You have a couple of options

  1. Copy your signons.sqlite and key3.db files in your Firefox profile for a complete list and keep them in a safe place, not on your system.
  2. You can use the following add-on to create/export a list in a couple of formats and that exported list can later be imported back into Firefox using the add-on. Also keep your export in a safe place, not on your system:

Other - Check your Plugins and update as needed

Or, take a ScreenHunter image of the list and email that to yourself.
