Following the update to Firefox 10.0.2 for Windows (running on XP), all group tabs were lost and only the opened group of tabs were restored. This has happened with previous updates as well. Any thoughts?

I tend to use groups in a way to allow me to have different sets of resources available by simply switching to a different set of groups, i.e., a group for technical sources, a group for social sites, a group for email, a group for online shopping, a group for travel information, etc.. With some previous updates, there has been no loss of these group tabs and I did not receive the session restore page when Firefox restarted. With the update to 10.0.2, the session restore page was presented when Firefox restarted, and when it did restore, it only restored the tabs from the group that was open when it closed to install the update. All of the other, (perhaps 14-16), groups were gone and could not be restored via History or in any other method that I've been able to determine. Is there a way to periodically save all of the open tabs *and* group tabs so I can restore the basic sets of tabs and groups that I use if they are lost?
