I can't access the internet via Firefox, which automatically updates itself on my computer. K12, the online school I work for, says it is not "compatible" with Firefox versions above 3.6. Why can't I keep 3.6, since the grading tools I need are the easiest to work with?

How can I get 3.6 back on my computer?

Swarnava, the current Firefox 3.6.* release can be found at http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all-older.html

Which is easy to find by way of www.mozilla.com -> Systems & Languages -> Firefox 3.6.24

Also not everybody uses the en-US local ;)

Like Ed, I do suggest to use the Firefox Portable version of Firefox 3.6.24 instead for this one case as it will not impact the regular Firefox install whether it is on hard disk or on usb flash drive.

You're better off using Firefox Portable 3.6.24 for that one website and keep Firefox 8.0 for elsewhere. The Portable version won't mess with the original Firefox installation.
