Share bookmark toolbar

I want to create a toolbar with bookmarks in it that I can share with my co-workers. I want them to be able to just 'import' the toolbar I created. Does anyone have any ideas on the best way to do this?

I wish there was an easier way. But a little editing of an exported file works for me.

I don't know anything about bookmark synchronization, maybe you can share there. there is also delicious.com but the latter are not Firefox bookmarks.

What I do create another profile and copy and paste the folders on my bookmarks toolbar that I want to share into the bookmarks toolbar of my other profile. I export that, and make some modifications so my local bookmarks don't point to my c: drive then I put it up on the web. I modify the main folder so that it has a date, in fact I even keep that date on my bookmarks bar so I know when I dd it last.

See http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/firefox/lessons/intro/fx3_intro.htm#kws for directions to install. Click on any of these bookmarklets. "keywords:" to see keywords, "href:" to see urls, "bml:" to identify bookmarklets, in bookmarks.html type listings. Rename the "k (yyyy-mm-dd)" folder to just "k" after importing a local copy of this file to your Bookmarks Menu and move K folder to your bookmarks toolbar per instructions in http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/firefox/lessons/intro/fx3_intro.htm and in http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/firefox/kws.htm

Install Style 9091 to make Bookmarks Toolbar easier to read with folders in blue and bookmarks in red.

For best viewing of this file in an exported bookmarks.html listing, use the following bookmarks in this order -- href:, subs:, bml:, and keywords: -- use subs: before bml:

For easiest introductory testing use the bookmarks sidebar to see what they can do on various pages. For normal use -- use the keyword shortcuts. This file is about 500KB when exported. An interesting thing to do is to display the favicons that are included see http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/windows-7/w7.html for an example of that.
