When I try to clear cookies and cache etc in Firefox 95.0 on my Mac (OSX 11.6.1), there always remains 811kb, no matter how many times I try and clear it. Deleting the Search history doesn't get rid of it either. Previously, this didn't happen. What's going on please?

Isisombululo esikhethiwe

According to the screenshot you appear to be in Private Browsing mode. When you are in PB mode then you can't remove personal data from the regular mode stored in the profile folder. You would have to leave PB mode temporarily to clear this data.

When you are in PB mode then all session data is kept in memory and purged automatically when you close the browser or close all PB mode windows (not sure how this works on a Mac as you can close all open windows and leave Firefox running).
