Connection to server imap.123-reg.co.uk timed out
As of circa midnight 07 Jan 2021 Thunderbird stopped downloading emails from my account. There was no major systems updates (I can tell) proceeding his stopage.
Thunderbird Version 78.60.0 (20201211152611) installed 22 Dec 2020 Working on Windows 10 version 20H2 installed 19 Dec 2020
All I get is a long pause then Connection to server imap.123-reg.co.uk timed out.
My email account provider is working remotely as I can access emails via the web. I can send emails from Thunderbird however it won't save them.
Questions: Has this occurred with others recently? Is it a known issue which has one of those fiddly fixes which requires to go into configure editor and change one of those command lines?

After 3 days (11 Jan) the connection fault resolved itself (don't know how or where the issue lay). Its a mystery, however I am just glad its resolved.
