I recently updated to TB 68.3.1 and lost my calendar data. I tried the recommended fix at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/calendar-updates-issues-thunderbird#w_lightning-disappears-after-a-thunderbird-update-release-and-beta-versions The link said that Lightning would be back after the reboot but it wasn't and I had to go to add-ons and reselect it. Still no data. I'm running Win 7 Pro with the files residing on a networked drive. I have a complete backup of all files but don't know which ones to restore or if that will even work. This is a business with 3 PCs accessing TB, two of which had Lightning enabled. Mine is the only one where it is critical that I retrieve the data. TB is working fine so only need to retrieve calendar data. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

what happens if you just move your data back onto a local drive? I am seeing a lot of issues with network stored profile data at the moment. So I think there might be an issue with attaching of getting information from network drives.

Thanks for responding. Is this a recent issue? We have been running TB and Lightning with everything on the network storage for quite a few years now with few issues. One thing I'm starting to suspect is that one other user enabled Lightning a few weeks ago. We were both able to have our own independent calendars and tasks until I upgraded TB to 68.3.1 and the lightning upgrade failed as noted previously. The other user wasn't really using Lightning but wanted to see what it had to offer. I believe he had entered a single task but nothing more. I just had him remove/disable Lightning and restart. During this process, his version of TB automatically upgraded to 68.4.1. One other piece of information I forgot to mention was that my calendar was named "New_Home" and I had deleted the original "Home" calendar but that has been working for years. After the update, what came back was "Home" (ie, a new blank calendar). Do you know all of the necessary calendar data files and where they are normally located? I have a full backup of the networked drive and I can restore just the calendar data if I can find the necessary files. The following are what I have been able to find so far but I don't think that is everything as I have tried restoring these. deleted.sqlite in calendar-data local.sqlite in calendar-data storage.sqlite There are other files but they have not changed since the backup. Any ideas?

Hi GaryMfield, This sounds like it's the same problem as under discussion here. If it is, then your data are probably OK. We think the problem occurs when loading the add-ons after a restart. See in particular the most recent posts on page 2 regarding use of TB "Safe Mode" (with add-ons disabled). This problem is also the subject of a bug filed here. If your problem turns out to be the same, please add any info you can to the bug discussion.

I have the same problem, except that I am the only user on my PC no network storage I reported my problem also here: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1606254

Frank, Gary managed to get his calendar back, he posted information in thread 1273975. You'll find some information there that may help you, but before you do anything make sure you have a backup of your complete TB profile (even if the calendar isn't showing at the moment the data are probably OK).

Do let us know how you get on.
