Hi, I don't know if this applies, but it's important to change the font size in email programs settings - usually a gear wheel or similar in the top right corner, but that may vary. Just changing it on the Compose toolbar, will only apply for that particular email, and will revert back to the default afterwards.

I already said I have set the font size in BOTH AOL Mail AND Firefox, but what I see on my screen is NOT12pt - it is 8pt

The only way to know what is happening is if another AOL user can do what your asking to verify the problem.

If I use IE11 to look at emails that I have composed using Firefox they display correctly at 12pt, nut not in firefox!

To add to my last post, when I view emails in AOL Mail using Chrome they display at 12pt. So the issue exists only in Firefox!!!

Is this one for the technicians rather than the community??

A detail like a website remembering details is stored in a cookie. You can remove the Cookies from websites to make a website forget settings stored in a cookie.

I clear cookies regularly and it makes no difference! AOL Mail in IE11 - OK AOL Mail in Chrome - OK AOL Mail in Firefox - incorrect font size This apples even to email composed or received before I started using Firefox! This MUST be a fault in Firefox

Please confirm that the font size is globally set in AOL - Options > Email settings > Compose.

Now hold down the Shift key when you start Firefox to start in Safe Mode. More - Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode.

If it works in Safe Mode, disable any theme or extensions you have - 3-bar menu > Add-ons > Themes/Extensions and restart Firefox; then if it's OK, re-enable them one by one until you find the culprit. You may need to restart Firefox after enabling some extensions.

I can confirm that the font size is globally set in AOL - Options> Email settings> Compose. The problem is not rexolved by using Safe Mode and I have no Add-ons> Themes/Extentions. So I refreshed Firefox and that changed the font size in Firefox to Deault (Times New Roman) - Size 16pt, but in AOL it remains at Arial 12pt It appears that solution is to NOT set Firefox to be the same as AOL Thanks for your help
