"Video format or MIME not supported" I have flash player 24 NPAPI (worked on win.7.64bit no prob but now win.vista.32bit it won't work) suggestions/solution?
running a dell studio slim desktop i had win 7 64 bit as my OS hard drive failed and i put win vista 32 bit on and set it up put firefox back on and found a flash player that would install (had problems with that) but got it to work in firefox and it passed adobe's test but when i got to watch a video i get a error "video format or mime type not supported" Can you tell me what the issue might be or how i could resolve this problem? thanks

The videos where you are getting the error on may actually be HTML5 and not using Flash Player.
You may not have Windows Vista updated with things like the Platform Update Supplement for Vista. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/fix-video-audio-problems-firefox-windows

The "video format or mime type not supported" message is always about the HTML5 media player. Firefox isn't able to play any of the media formats that the website is offering. This can be caused by failing native OS support for playing some media types, because Firefox relies on native support. The Web Console ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Web Developer) usually shows what content this is about.
