WE HAVE 2 EBAY ACCOUNTS, IN BOTH OUR NAMES. EBAY TOLD ME TO USE YOU TO SET 2 BROWSERS FOR US. HOW?.
Hallo. My partner and I have 2 eBay accounts, 1 for me and 1 for him, using our 2 different email addresses. I asked eBay how I could easily switch from 1 eBay account to the other and was advised to load Firefox so that I could have 2 different browsers. I havn't a clue what I am supposed to do and am unfamiliar with computer language. Can anyone out there please advise how I can easily put on screen our browsers for easy access into eBay . Many thanks if you can help me.

When you install Firefox, it should add an icon to your desktop to fire it up. It also will usually import your IE Favorites to provide easy access to sites you have bookmarked; in Firefox, these appear on the Bookmarks menu (there's an icon that looks somewhat like a clipboard on the toolbar).
If you would like to have the menu bar displayed, you can use one of these methods to show the toolbar list and select Menu Bar there:
- right-click a blank spot on the tab bar (or the "+" button)
- tap the Alt key to activate the classic menu bar > View > Toolbars
- in Customize mode > Show/Hide Toolbars (see: Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars)
I mention all that because I'm assuming you have a Favorite/Bookmark for the right page in eBay. But, if not, you can type ebay.com into the address bar and press Enter to load it.
Once you are in eBay, I think the idea behind the suggestion was that "user #2" would log in using Firefox and "user #1" would log in using your regular browser, possibly Internet Explorer. You do not need to close one browser to use the other, you can just minimize it down to the Taskbar using the minimize button (first of the 3 buttons on the upper right part of the window frame).
Does that help?
