I just updated TB I was running two clients from one install 1 now have server problems

more options

I'm running two TB clients from one install - never had any problems. I've just updated to 24.4.0 and one of these installs works fine the other won't receive or send e-mails. I get the following error.

Sending of message failed. The message could not be sent because connecting to SMTP server mail.just-2bme.com failed. The server may be unavailable or is refusing SMTP connections. Please verify that your SMTP server settings are correct and try again, or contact the server administrator.

It doesn't matter which SMTP server I use - I've 4 that (usually) work, no matter which I use I get the same problem. I can use the same SMTP server to send as the other install - the other install works, this one doesn't. VERY ODD.

connectivity problems immediately after an update are usually anti virus programs being overly cautious and blocking everything in this new unknown program.

I eventually rebooted and it all worked. So, it seemed to need a restart to sort itself out. Thanks for the advice - I'll know what to check if similar happens.
