eliminate a website that appears at startup
Instead of my homepage I have a strange website appear at every Firefox start-up. My homepage (sfcollege.edu) is still listed in options settings. I have tried and cannot fix this situation.

Have you tried using a new profile? See Profile Manager - Create, remove or switch Firefox profiles
