How do you permanantly close multiple tabs so they won't open again when logging into Firefox?

When I open a link (or multiple ones) during a session, these same windows reappear the next time I log into Firefox, even though I told it to close multiple tabs before closing out the previous session. How do I set Firefox to open fresh, minus any windows from the previous session?

So, you want to close Firefox, and when you re-open, not have it restore your recently closed tabs? If you click on the Orange Firefox button in the top left of your window, then on Options, in the General section, where it says "When Firefox starts:" Does it say "Show my Windows and tabs from last time"? If so, set it to something else such as "Show my home page" or "Show a blank page"

It is possible that there is a problem with the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

Delete the sessionstore.js file and possible sessionstore-##.js files with a number and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note or bookmark them).
