FF 4.x and 5.x often cause screen to blank, give message "Frequency out of Range", and I have to reboot; FF 3.x does not do this. Why?
I get a black screen with a floating window displaying this message. I know - it is video resolution related, but I have current drivers and EVERYTHING else runs without any errors. I understand FF may now have video acceleration built in - is this the culprit? Can I disable it? Do I need to either use FF 3.x or switch to IE or Chrome? This is *really* getting old!

-> click Firefox button and click Options -> Advanced panel -> General tab -> Remove Checkmark from Use Hardware Acceleration when available
-> click OK on Options window -> Restart Firefox
Check and tell if its working.

Thank you - I did that! I have also gone into about:config and set accelerometer:enabled to false. That was just a guess, though...
I will check to see if you "fixed" me!
Thanks!!!
