I have just updated to the latest version of firefox. I used to get a padlock sign appearing in the bottom right corner of the screen when I was operating on bank web sites, this has now disappeared - can I re-instate it?
I have recently updated to the latest version of Fiirefox. Previously a padlock symbol appeared in the bottom right hand corner of the screen, to indicate that the web site that I was using (eg banking) was safe and no financial information could be hacked.
This has now disappeared on the updated version. Can I re-instate it?

The Statusbar is gone and the "lock" with it. Security information about a web page is shown by the Site Identity Button.

You can add a padlock to the location bar with the Padlock add-on- https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/padlock-icon
