I am trying to display an image from an IP camera which is connected to the web. I have the web address of the camera and the log in details for it. However, when I log in, it only displays a black screen where there should be a live video image. I presume that I must change some settings in Firefox to enable live video streaming from the camera. Does anybody know what settings to change in Firefox?

Some IP cameras only work with IE because they use an ActiveX control to control them.

To make such a camera work in Firefox you need others ways to control that camera like a Java applet.

Your More system details list shows the old WMP plugin (Npdsplay dll). You can try to install the new WMP plugin to see if that works.
