i can not play any of my games on facebook keeps telling me adobe flash player has crashed. I'm seriously considering uninstalling firefox and downloading ie....please help me with this problem.

I've tried the solution mentioned on the Mozilla website, but still not all of the games I play on Facebook work properly since the update of Firefox. Don't know what's wrong, but I was very happy with Firefox (a lot quicker and better than IE) up until now...

It appears the way Facebook games are written might be causing timeouts longer than the 10 second limit Firefox 3.6.4 has given plugins to become responsive again. To change this to 60 seconds:

Enter about:config into the address bar, click through any warning page, then into the Filter box paste:

dom.ipc.plugins.timeoutSecs

Double-click the line listing that preference to change it's value to 60

Firefox 3.6.6 has been released to increase the dom.ipc.plugins.timeoutSecs pref to 45 seconds if it has still the default value.

I tried modifying the time-out to -1, and it didn't work. it would just totally freeze mozilla up...is there anything else I can possibly do to fix this damn problem?? i've been browsing Mozilla Help forum ALL DAMN DAY to find a solution, but all I keep seeing is "you need to modify the time-out to -1" IT DOESNT WORK.

Same problem whenever trying to run you tube video's. Firefox is up to date 3.6.6 and so is Adobe.

Try to uninstall and reinstall Flash and remove the Flash Local Storage Flash Local Storage: http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager07.html

Flash Player uninstall: http://www.adobe.com/go/tn_14157 (this will remove the Firefox Flash plugin and the ActiveX control for IE)

I have been struggling with this for days. When I play the Zoo on facebook and I try to change islands, adobe crashes on me! I can't play my game. I have updated many times, followed all instructions to the letter, yet still says it isn't updated on the plugin page for firefox!! If I cannot find a fix, it will leave me no choice but to go back to IE. This is very frustrating!!!!!!

Which version of Firefox do you use?

You can set the prefs dom.ipc.plugins.enabled.* to false on the about:config page to disable the plugin-container process to see if that helps. dom.ipc.plugins.enabled.npctrl.dll (Silverlight) dom.ipc.plugins.enabled.npqtplugin.dll (QuickTime) dom.ipc.plugins.enabled.npswf32.dll (Flash)

To open the about:config page, type about:config in the location (address) bar and press the Enter key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website. If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.

I have the latest version of Firefox and flash and now anything flash crashes Firefox without any warning. Firefox 3.6.4 didn't do this, only 3.6.6 does it. I did what cor-el suggested and it had no effect. :( Any other fix?

EDIT: Disabling FireTorrent fixes it.

everytime itry to get into the marcet of farmville it gets grey and it says flash has crashed what can i do to avoid this

hi! Problems with Adobe can't get in to my Farm Ville page. Can't get into You Tube.

I have the problem of it crashing with Paltalk Express whenever I goto enter my password it instantly crashes :X I have no idea what to do I'm on Ubuntu 10.10 Alpha 2 but it did the dame thing in 10.04 LTS because it's Flash causing this error :|

i have the same problem with crashing adobe every 10secs on Facebook. I tried EVERYTHING. What is this :( And my computer is veeeery slow now :(
