Hi All,

I have used Thunderbird for many years now and I had six separate email accounts all linked to download their emails to Thunderbird into the generic Local folders. I suddenly had a problem with one of them, so I tried rectifying it but to no avail. The problem email was with Virginmedia.

After contacting virgin media they reactivated the account, for why it was deactivated I have no idea. I deleted the account from Thunderbird and added it back in, the automatic recognition worked and when I went to the Local folders within Thunderbird I saw the new account, which puzzled me as it had created a completely new inbox. All my other accounts are not shown but their emails all appear in Local folders Inbox. How do I get this reinstated account which is listed under accounts, but i do not want it as a separate box listed separately within the local folders What have i missed here....
