Hi everyone, few days ago I found in a PC that in a account settings the item "Outgoing Server (SMTP)" was wrong (it show a different smtp) and on another account the same item blank. In the "Outgoing server SMTP list", some configurations were disappeared.

The same, the day after, happened on other two PCs and today on one more PC.

All PCs run on windows 11 (updated with all news), and have Thunderbird v. 91.11.0 (64-bit).

After re-added the smtp configurations, they are desappeared again few later.

Any idea about what is happening ?

Any help is appreciated !

Thank you so much indeed

Nice day

yep. I filed a bug for just that months ago. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1731518

Perhaps try the information in the last comment. I can not reproduce it reliably and therefore things are moving quite slowly.

Thank you Matt.

As indicated in the post you mentioned, I checked the Error Console (in Developer tools) and I found some error of objects (files) undeletable from temporary directory.

I closed TB, made a disk clean and restarted TB. Magically the smtp configurations are reappeared !

Unfortunately I didn't made a note about the messages so I cannot indicate to the community those messages.

Anyway, that problem about temporary files, suggested me (maybe uncorrectly) about my usual use of hybernation of pc: I shut down my pc usually once a week and all days I hybernate it (leaving open applications, included TB). Could this be a clue? I'll keep my eyes open and update the community if I found something interesting.

Thank you for support!
