Unexplained popus
Hello,
I trust my email finds you well.
On two occasions recently I googled something and when I click on the page I wish to visit, a popup appears with celebrations raining from the top of the screen and then a survey follows.
Please see the images I uploaded here.
Is this a virus / malware or legit or a popup that got past ad-block plus?
Looking forward to hearing from you. Schalk

Any suggestions though how I can prevent this from happening in the future? I already have ad-block plus installed.Maybe the best thing I can do is ask you to take a look at search results .....
And : never click on anything (if asked) - just close the window.
Thank you McCoy!!!!

Looks like that is from Google.
Go to the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page {web Link} (There’s a lot of good stuff here) and search for a good ad blocker.
Hi FredMcD,
Thanks for your prompt response.
I have an ad blocker installed. Ad-Block Plus to be specific.
As you mentioned this is from google. Can I assume that the ad blocker missed it?
Regards, Schalk
Hello schalas,
Those are scams; please don't click on anything and just close those pages.
Is you want to, you could report it using this link
