I have found a bug with the video player that is bundled with firefox. Videos on wbrc.com play automatically and controls aren't responsive at all. I cannot confirm if this issue is present on other sites that don't use their own player since i don't know any other sites to test on. I can only control the video using the right click menu.

Went there and clicked on video and had full control. What other addons do you have installed?

Did you check for issues caused by your extensions?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is is causing the problem.

  • switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Appearance
  • do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window

It should be using the HTML5 player on the site. So left clicking on the play button on bottom left corner and the bar does nothing?

Even though it is for Youtube HTML5 player, I wonder if the h264ify Extension you have installed is causing an issue.

Disabled h264ify no change and correct also volume control does slide but the volume doesn't change.

Yes i did except for hardware acceleration because hardware acceleration works really well for me compared to chrome.

Just tested wbrc.com videos on google chrome and video controls work fine and i notice they are using the default video player that the google chrome browser uses. Theres no custom video player on their site apparantly.
