Transfer Firefox entirely from another computer
I have 2 computers, both running Win7 SP1 (32 bit).
Computer 1 has been running FF 56.0b12 for a long time.
I installed the same version on computer 2, but cannot install the "TabMixPlus" extension.
I tried to copy over the profile located in C:\users\Mark\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\672nu82s.default.
This did appear to place the extensions in the add-ons list, but the extension does not work.
Since these are identical Win7 versions, and also identical FF versions, how can I solve this issue?
I'd like to copy over FF entirely from computer 1 to computer 2 including all extensions and permissions so as to get TabMix Plus to work?
Thanks, Mark.

Please explain the problem in detail. What happens? What is the exact error messages?
Have you contacted their support?
There is no error messages, the extension simply doesn't work.
I guess there is one indication there is a problem, on Computer 2, there is a yellow bar to the left of that add-on. (The other two seem OK, Adblock Plus v3.1, and 'Remove Google Tracking V1.10.1)
I have not contacted their support, they are just going to tell me to upgrade to the newest FF, and I really don't like Quantum. So V56 is the latest I will ever have until they go back to a legacy interface.
I can't understand why with identical installations, one works and another doesn't. That is why I want to simply copy the entire FF from one computer to another.
Thanks, Mark.

Right here tells you not everything transferred and you need to remove the Addons and reinstall them again to get them to works. Transfering isn't just copying as you found there are things missing when you did that.
Why do you run this specific 56.0b12 beta version and not the official 56.0 release if you insist in running this outdated Firefox version?
Hmmm, good question. When I decided V57 was not for me, I picked the newest V56 available. Maybe I will try to get a V56 stable release.
In the mean time, since both windows's and FF's are the same version, can you help with coping one to another?
Mark.
I would STRONGLY suggest against using any outdated versions of Firefox. Firefox 56 has many known security issues, and should not be used. Please update to Firefox 63, and then import your profile.
Are there specific issues you had with newer versions of Firefox?
