Any problems with Thunderbird in Mac High Sierra OS?

I am a longtime user of Thunderbird for Mac. I am still using the older OS, Sierra (OS X 12) primarily because I have read nightmare stories about Thunderbird not working properly with High Sierra (OS X 13).

I don't want to upgrade and have problems, as email is crucial on a daily basis, so I need to know for certain if it works and what are the known problems I need to prepare to deal with.

Also, does anyone know if a problem exists and makes Thunderbird unuseable, is it possible to revert back to Sierra (OS X 12) until the issues are resolved? (editted for readability - omnibus pargraphs are not)

https://mzl.la/2NbgZga are the only open bug reports with High Sierra in the bug summary. Of those two bugs https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1413847 is not a confirmed issue, but if it is real, it's likely not new to version 60.
