getting an alert from security when trying to open an e-transfer?
I have been receiving e-transfers for more than a year now and in the last three weeks I have had a phishing alert come up when I try to open the e-transfer and deposit it into my account. I have been using Kaspersky as my security for more than 5 years now. Do you know of anything that has changed in the last month to make this happen?

Phishing alerts generally appear when you are accessing a fake website or a website that is disguised as a trusted brand. Are you 100% certain that you are using the correct website of a trusted e-transfer vendor?
I'd also recommend scanning for malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of. This malware could be redirecting you to a phishing website without your knowledge.
You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:
- Microsoft Safety Scanner
- MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware
- Anti-Rootkit Utility - TDSSKiller (for more info, see this alternate TDSSKiller download page)
- AdwCleaner (for more info, see this alternate AdwCleaner download page)
- Hitman Pro
- ESET Online Scanner
Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista if you don't already have one. Windows 8/10 have antivirus protection built-in.
