In options, I check the box to remember logins and passwords, but it won't stay checked. This worked fine until recently and now I have to fill in a password for every site I visit.

If I can't fix this, I can't use Firefox.

Are you using RoboForm?

This is possibly a problem with the RoboForm Password Manager extension that shows in the system details list. We have recently seen some reports about issues with their extension for Firefox. You can try to contact RoboForm for support.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Appearance
  • do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window
