why does thunderbird v57 break attachment extractor
I use attachment extractor add-on heavily and it works under version 56.4 and in 57 its broken

Maybe because it is a beta version of Thunderbird and the add on author needs to upgrade their software.
Indeed, these things are going to happen as we move through beta 57-59
