Javascript Errors and unable to view images - already troubleshooted

Spent last 12 hours trying to troubleshoot this issue. - Uninstalled/reinstalled - cleared cache - about:config - made sure javascript = "true" - installed latest JAVA making sure it is browser enabled


still receiving the following error:

JavaScript must be enabled in order for you to use Designer Label Gal Mail in standard view. However, it seems JavaScript is either disabled or not supported by your browser. To use standard view, enable JavaScript by changing your browser options, then try again. To use Designer Label Gal Mail's basic HTML view, which does not require JavaScript, If you want to view Designer Label Gal Mail on a mobile phone or similar device

and unable to see images on all sites.

Google Chrome and Internet Explorer are working fine.

hello, could you go to the firefox menu ≡ > help ? > troubleshooting information, copy the contents of that page and paste them here into a reply on the forum? this might give us a clue what is going on...

Java and JavaScript are different languages. To avoid confusion, see:


Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) to see if that helps in case security software is blocking content.
