Foxfire stopped working, says program did not initialize properly (0cx0000005) press OK to terminate application
foxfire was working ok in AM. when I tried to launch it in the afternoon got above error message. tried restart NG, tried reboot also NG. Uninstalled foxfire 36 and installed latest foxfire 40, but I still get the above error message when I try to launch program.

hello, this indicates a fundamental corruption of your operating system that will be outside of the scope of this forum to troubleshoot. when you search the microsoft fora about this error, it often comes up with occurrences of malware on a system...
Run most or all of the listed malware scanners. Each works differently. If one program misses something, another may pick it up.
